Recipe For The Week 04/08/2017
This is an Italian vegetable soup
This is a light, lemony and oh-so- delicious way to prepare Tilapia filets. These filets are baked - not fried - so they are healthy and they taste amazing. The Thyme, Garlic Granules and Lemon Pepper are the perfect spices to go with the lemon and the Tilapia. Don't forget the Paprika as it adds just the right color to the topping. It is definitely a dish you will want to make again and again!
INGREDIENTS
5 Tilapia Fillets 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 Tblspns lemon juice 1 egg white (just the egg white from one egg) 1 Tblspn Thyme (dried) 2 tsp Lemon Pepper 2 tsp Garlic Granules 2 tsp Paprika Olive Oil Directions: In a bowl, mix together the egg white and the lemon juice. In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and the Thyme, Garlic Granules, and Lemon Pepper. Dip each filet in the lemon juice mixture and then in the breadcrumb mixture (making sure each filet is covered with the breadcrumb mixture). Place the coated filets in a baking dish that has a little olive oil on the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle the top of each filet with the Paprika and a little olive oil, lemon juice, and parmesan cheese. Bake the fillets for about 20 minutes (until golden) in a 420 degree oven.
